1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the participation in and use of services provided by London Spikers Volleyball Club ("the Club"). By participating in any activities, events, or services offered by the Club or continuing to use this website, participants agree to be bound by these Terms. The content found on our website and social media pages is for general information only. It is subject to change without notice.
2. Participation
2.1. Eligibility: Participation is open to individuals who meet the age and skill requirements specified for each event or activity.
2.2. Registration: Participants must complete the registration process and provide accurate information.
2.3. Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and follow all rules and instructions provided by the Club and its representatives.
3. Fees and Payments
3.1. Fees: All fees for participation in events or activities must be paid in full at the time of registration.
3.2. No Refunds: All bookings are final and non-refundable. No exchanges or transfers are permitted under any circumstances.
4. Health and Safety
4.1. Health: Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physically fit to participate in activities.
4.2. Safety: the Club will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants but cannot guarantee the prevention of all injuries.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5.2. Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
5.3. the Club is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during participation in any of its activities or events.
5.4. Participants assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to physical injury and property damage.
6. Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Club, its organizers, sponsors, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Club’s activities or events. This includes, but is not limited to, any claims of third parties for injuries, damages, or losses.
7. Media Release
Participants consent to the use of their name, image, and likeness in any promotional materials, advertisements, or media coverage related to the Club’s activities.
8. Amendments
The Club reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued participation in activities or events constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

These Terms and Conditions ensure that participants understand their responsibilities and the limitations of the Club's liability. The indemnification clause protects the Club from potential legal claims arising from participation in its activities.
11. Waiver
In consideration of me being allowed to participate in any way the activities and associated events provided and hosted by the Club, inclusive (the “Activities”), I hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:
I understand the nature of the Activities and acknowledge my experience and capabilities and believe I am qualified to participate in the Activities. I further acknowledge that I am aware that the Activities may be conducted in facilities open to the public during the Activities. I further agree and warrant that if, at any time, I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue further participation in the Activities.
I fully understand that: (a) the Activities involve risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, blindness, paralysis and death (“Risks”); (b) these Risks may be caused by my own actions, or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activities, the conditions in which the Activities take place or the negligence of the Releasees (defined below); (c) there may be other risks and social and economic losses either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and (d) I fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibilities for losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of my participation in the Activities.
I hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue, and agree to hold harmless the Club, its owner(s), administrators, directors, agents, officers, volunteers, and employees, other participants, any sponsors and advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises on which the Activities take place (each considered to be one of the “Releasees” herein) from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages on account caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, including rescue operations, and further agree that if, despite this release, I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim against any of the Releasees named above.
